LYCIA. Arycanda. Tranquillina, Augusta, 241-244. Tetrassarion (Bronze, 29 mm, 20.23 g, 11 h). ϹΑΒЄΙΝΙΑ•ΤΡΑΝΚΥΛΛЄΙΝΑ [ϹЄ] Draped bust of Tranquillina set on crescent to right, wearing stephane. Rev. ΑΡΥΚΑΝ/ΔЄⲰΝ Two figures, one holding scepter in his right hand (Zeus?), the other radiate (Helios?), driving quadriga to right. RPC VII.2 online ID 21609. SNG von Aulock 4278. Of the highest rarity, apparently the second known example. Smoothed, otherwise, good very fine.
